To install and configure the modem, start from the Windows desktop and select the "Start" button, then "Settings" and "Control Panel".

To begin, click the Windows Start menu, select 'Settings', select
'Dial-up Networking'.

Double click the 'Make New Connection' icon.

A dialogue box will open which will welcome you to the Network Connection Wizard, click 'next'.

Type a name for your new connection, such as 'Pet Connect '. Select your installed modem from the 'select a device' drop
down menu and click 'next'.

Type in 0845 123 1827 into the 'Telephone number' box (leave area code blank) and select 'United Kingdom' from the 'Country
or region' drop down menu, and click next.

Click 'Finish'.

To use your new Pet Connect Internet connection, double click the 'Pet Connect ' icon.

Type in your 'username' (petconnect) and your 'password' (petconnect) and select the 'Save password' box and click 'connect'. You will now be connected to your Pet Connect connection.
